Thank you for visiting Rolling Thunder®, Inc., Illinois Chapter #1. My name is Al Miller, President of our Chapter.Rolling Thunder IL Chapter 1

Please come and visit us.  We meet on the 1st Wednesday of every month at VFW Post 081,
Warrenville, IL (a western suburb of Chicago) at 7:30 PM.

We are men and women, both Veterans and non-Veterans, who come from all races, economic status, ages, who would not normally come together, but have come together to accomplish our mission. We are not a motorcycle club but many of us use our motorcycles to bring awareness to our mission.

Our mission or major function of Rolling Thunder®, Inc., is to publicize the POW-MIA issue:  To educate the public that many American Prisoners of War were left behind after all previous wars and to help correct the past and to protect future Veterans from being left behind should they become Prisoners of War or Missing in Action.  We are also committed to helping American Veterans from all wars.

The principle of leaving no one behind - no matter the cost- is deeply embedded in the US Military. Those in uniform believe that no stone will be left unturned to get them home if they should fall into enemy hands. Our job is to make sure our country does not forget our service men and women.

We also help Veterans through our chapter’s Veterans Assistance Program and assist Illinois Veteran homes which can always use financial help. Please click on “Where the Money Goes” tab for further info.

On behalf of Rolling Thunder® Inc., thank you again. We look forward to you contacting us. All POW-MIA families, please feel free to contact us so we may honor your loved ones.
